  tried to rip me off, for a front brake pad change on vt commodore, they quoted me $480 for something that would cost them less than $30 to buy and less than 30 min labour, would never take my car there ever again

  The service my partner got was average. Slightly overpriced but otherwise nothing to complain about. The issue arose when they returned the car without the log book in it. 'This has never happened before' is neither believable nor reassuring. The manager said there was nothing he could do about it, but couldn't tell us anything about who serviced the car so they could be asked. They only made the effort to call owners of other cars serviced that day after we asked them to. Despite the loss in value of our car, no further explanation or assistance was provided.
